Hotel well located close to centre of La Fortuna. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious with fabulous view of Arenal Volcano. Bar and Restaurant located beside river with a variety of wildlife. Breakfast cooked to order and was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic little place right in town that is just tucked away from the road enough to feel like......it`s not just tucked away from the road! Clean, friendly and helpful staff and very spacious rooms. Wonderful second floor balcony for a rich coffee and an afternoon read.

This place was unbelievable. Excellent location. Beautiful room and the setting in the jungle was breathtaking. The staff were amazing. Lovliest people Ive ever met. The food is 5 star. How this place is a 3 star i dont understand. It should be a 5 star. All things included. Highly highly recommended.

We booked our stay at Hotel Monte Real last minute when in La Fortuna. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Our room was spotless, and the restaurant food and service was unbelievable! Everything was made to order and it was delicious. In the morning we had a clear view of Arenal from our room and other spots on the property. Check in and check out were easy and the front desk staff were outstanding. I highly recommend staying here when travelling to La Fortuna!

The breakfast dining was great with a calm, peaceful location right on the water. We enjoyed searching for frogs in the pond area. Very convenient to walk into town.

I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. Guest service reserved our tours with pickup and drop off included. The daily breakfast was delicious. There’s a river that runs through the back property and you can take a nice stroll and enjoy the nature. Shopping and restaurant locations were walking distance.
