It was so beautiful and Alvaro’s kindness and graciousness as a host made it even more memorable! We had wonderful adventures in the La Fortuna area and to be able to have some “down time” on the dreamy balcony was so rejuvenating. We’d highly recommend staying here!

This is a very beautiful home, clean, modern, perfectly comfortable. Host is very kind and attentive. Location is farther from La Fortuna but closer to all the hot springs, waterfall and places to explore. Uber was helpful to get here and get around. Peaceful environment full of beauty. Highly recommend.

The location was great- in between the Fortuna waterfall and Mistico park, with the town with restaurants/shops close by as well. We had plenty on room for our family of 4. There was a nice outdoor patio from which we saw a toucan eating berries in the tree. Alvaro and Carlos were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend the villas las Palmas.

Great apartment, very clean with nice size and layout. Excellent location with a lot of dining and grocery shopping options. Close to many high end hot spring resorts. The onsite laundry facility is a big plus. The host Alvaro is awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful stay for three days. The only caveat is the noise that rain drops hitting on the plastic cover that leads to the second floor. Other than that our stay was perfect!

Lovely apartment with a friendly and helpful host. Gated parking. Good air conditioning, nice covered deck, high ceilings. The main street was an easy 4km drive to lots of restaurants, stores and activities. Would definitely stay there again.

Parking was pretty tight, so if you are using a larger vehicle make sure to let them know so you can work with your down stairs neighbor. There isn’t really anything in walking distance but there is tons near by if you are driving ! The property owner was extremely kind and had great suggestions for activities for our stay. The morning birds and howler money were an added bonus and you never know what creatures you are going to catch rubbing under the street lights at night ! Extremely clean with great amenities! We grabbed food from the market and cooked daily.

Wir hatten das obere Apartment mit einem sehr schönen Blick ins Grüne und einer tollen Terrasse. Das ganze Apartment ist großzügig gestaltet, sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Tolle Lage außerhalb des Ortes und damit ruhiger und entspannter, aber nah genug zu allen Attraktionen.

Cetait parfait et pas trop cher. Joli appartement avec un bon entretient. Le proprio est très gentil et possède un restaurant tout près. 30 min du volcan, 1m du ecoparc et 10 min du village. On a adoré !!!

Spacious apartment in great location

Great apartment with lots of space. We loved the master bedroom and large shower. The location is convenient near all the hot springs and a short drive from La Fortuna. Check-in was easy and it was nice to have secure parking within the property. The only negative was the comfort of the sofa beds, our daughters said they did not sleep well on them. This place would be well suited for a family with small kids, but not for larger people if there are more than 2.

Damp and noisy

This apartment is well-decorated and has a nice small garden but no pool or hot tub. When we arrived it had clearly been closed up for many days and smelled very strongly of damp and even mould. While the person who manages the property was very friendly and sent a cleaner, that didn’t change the smell. There is not really enough kitchen equipment to cook properly. As there is an apartment above this one it can be very noisy in the morning especially.. I was woken up both days by the upstairs neighbours. And there is quite a lot of road noise in the mornings.
