Les Gîtes du Villajou - Gîte Morio

This stone cottage, which was an outbuilding of the farm, was the first to be restored on the site.
The work lasted about 9 months and was intense because it symbolized the first steps in the renovation and at the time I did not have much knowledge in this area.
I tried to preserve as much as possible the authenticity and attributes of this building such as:
the stone paving floor, the large fireplace (called a "cantou") with wood-burning stove, the stone sink, the exposed beams, part of the old cob partition etc … Then modern and antique furniture were mixed to give a modern/antique feel which pleasantly highlights the rusticity of this place.
To satisfy your curiosity, you have at your disposal in the cottage a photo book retracing the renovation work as well as a welcome booklet.
During your stay at this farm stay, you'll be close to Louis Roque Distillery. Features include laundry facilities.
