Showing its age

Concern with tub/shower…no anti skid surface and grab bar was located outside of curtain. Didn’t like fall potential on very slippery tub surface. Wood portion of floor at vanity was not clean; unsure how clean carpet was. Poor WiFi connectivity and dropping signal. Minimal daily room service. Select TV channel needed PIN #, not a premium channel, just a cable news one. Front desk of no help.

My room did not feel secure. The door had a bend mark where it appeared a flat bar could have previously been used for entry. I could see substantial light coming thru both the side and bottom of the door. I was also placed in a pet room which I had not requested. I was under the impression the room was not sanitary the entire time I was present. The bed could be compared to the feel of a fold out couch - mattress was very uncomfortable and unsupportive. I do hope the other rooms on the property are better, and if not, I don’t see how it could have any repeat business.

Door lock broken

We had an issue with a broken door lock and the night clerk couldn’t help and wasn’t able to get anyone to fix it. The door wouldn’t lock and wouldn’t offer any small discount to us. The following morning the manager wasn’t going to offer any discount for the lack of security the previous night. The hotel wasn’t very impressive.
