The villa is in a lovely location, very quiet which was good for us. You need a car really to get places which was fine with us. We met one of the neighbours who was lovely. The villa it's self is clean and tidy, the pool was great and is bigger than it looks in the photos. Ana the owner was great, we had a we bit of trouble getting in as when we arrived the heat had made the door stick, a neighbour came and helped us get in, but in the meantime I had messaged Ana and she messaged me straight back. There were a couple of things that didn't work in the villa the large fan in the living room and some of the sockets and lights so we had to hunt for sockets that worked to charge our phones. I think in general the villa just needs a bit of updating. We had no issues with cleanliness, the maid was in every other day and also a pool guy. Good place for a quiet family holiday. Would recommend.

Im großen und ganzen ist alles gut,Küche ist komplett uns saubere,Bäder auch, nur dort richt es ein wenig,kommt vom Abfluss.Die Betten sind auch in die Jahre gekommen,die Matratze sind nicht mehr der Burner.Der Pool ist groß und sauber.Hatten eine gute Zeit dort.

Gite bien équipé pour 6 adultes. 3 grandes chambres avec bonne literie.Cuisine équipée Pièce de vie avec téle et une bonne connexion wifi.2 salles de bain avec serviettes Belle piscine avec bain de soleil et douche pour se rincer ,ne convient pas pour enfants ne sachant pas nager ou sur surveillance d adultes.Parking àl' intérieur du terrain Personnel d entretien plusieurs fois par semaine ,appréciable.Propriétaire réactif si souci . Amazing! Photos don’t do it justice.

We stayed at the property for eight days and loved every minute of being there. The rooms are perfect size for our requirements and the pool was perfect for the kids to enjoy. The property had offstreet parking, which was perfect for parking our hired car. The property was spotless and the cleaner visited three times during our stay and did a fantastic job. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will return next year as this is now one of our favourites.

All Guests thrilled

The only area of concern was the from yard and entrance. Otherwise this was more than we needed, since it acted as an overflow to our main guest house. So, the house was a pleasant surprise for the guests who stayed, since they had expected hotel rooms. The house is private, well maintained and outfitted and has a beautiful view from many rooms and the roof deck.

The property and pool was very clean but beds and furniture tired and not comfortable. Kitchen was quite outdated and equipment just functional. Would stay again if updated and beds and bedding renewed.

Férias agradáveis em Sesmarias - Lagoa

Passámos uns dias muito agradáveis na Casa Viana. A casa precisa de alguma renovação, não obstante, é uma casa boa casa, situada num sítio lindíssimo. A piscina é excelente. A proprietária foi bastante simpática e prestável, tentando colmatar de imediato, algumas pequenas falhas que apontámos.

Séjour au calme dans une maison confortable avec piscine

Nous avons apprécié l aménagement de la maison et les environs. Le secteur est calme et c est ce que nous recherchions. La piscine est extra (même si l accès à l arrière de la maison n’est pas optimal). Bémol pour l adolescent qui nous accompagnait: la mauvaise qualité de la connexion internet. Séjour globalement satisfaisant

Good sized villa in a quiet area, with large private pool.

We enjoyed our stay in this good sized 3 bed villa, the pool is large, with a separate room by the pool for sitting or changing, this room also had a fridge so you can stay by the pool and have cold drinks. There is also a toilet and shower room by the pool, as well as the bbq area. Although smoking is allowed the rooms did not smell at all. There are fans provided, and we did need to use these for some of the warmer nights. The villa is in a very quiet area, and we walked into the main town area most nights for meals, this walk takes around 40 minutes (it's useful to take a map with you, I took images from google earth). There is a small supermarket around 15 minutes walk away, and also there are some restaurants within 15 minutes walk if you don't want to walk into the main town. If you have a car then the villa is even more ideal. As no one had rented the villa the day before we arrived we were allowed in early, and the fridge had been stocked with milk, cheese, butter, water, and bread had been provided, this was really welcomed and was an unexpected bonus. The maid attended most days, and the pool was cleaned at least twice during our 10 day stay. The wifi signal wasn't always that strong, but we did manage to watch tv programmes most mornings and evenings via the Amazon firestick that we took with us. Plenty of towels were provided, including pool towels, and there were 6 sunloungers as well as other seating and tables. This is a good value villa, the only negative would be the lack of air conditioning, but that is reflected in the price.
