Great space, in need of TLC.

The overall experience was a good one. But unfortunately we did encounter quite a bit of issues. The cleanliness of the place was less than desirable. We had to sweep and mop the main living space because it was visibly dirty. Multiple bathrooms had dirty toilets. There were cockroachs in the upstairs kitchen. Some amenities were not in working order or missing, for example the fireplace was inoperable, the heater did not work in the bottom part of the house, they had to bring in little space heaters to help with the cold. Some of the bathrooms had empty soap containers, no extra toilet paper and had to call for trash bags. Aside from all the negatives, the space was big, the location of the home was great, plenty of car space. The communication between the home contact and us was a good one, they responded in a timely manner and attempted to find solutions. Perhaps as a tip, bring extra amenities if you stay here.
