BRIGADOON at Lake Lure is a 2-story Arts and Crafts style lakefront home on Lake Lure's only island and is listed as one of Dupont Registry's "Top Ten Lakefront Homes."

This home features unparalleled western views of Chimney Rock and Rumbling Bald Mountain. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, golf, and all that Lake Lure has to offer! Only 15 miles to Tryon International Equestrian Center and a mere 0.5 mile to Lake Lure’s lovely public greenway and hiking trails. Brigadoon's decor is true to its craftsman styling and is designed for comfort. A beautiful home to make lifelong memories. This lovely home has 2 stone fireplaces with gas logs in each to stay toasty warm. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances (including a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, disposal, and microwave). There is full access to the lake and kayaks/paddles from the expansive dock. Chaise lounge chairs, multiple outdoor seating and patio areas, plus a gas grill are provided.

Labor Day Getaway

Great location with probably the best view of Lake Lure looking toward Chimney Rock. Paddleboards and small kayak provided. Some interior furnishings could be updated, outside of that, can’t think of a single thing that could be upgraded or changed. Will definitely recommend and look toward staying here again!

Many stays here

This is the 3rd or 4th time we stayed at this property over the years. We always enjoy our stay here. Everyone has a great time. Property management were excellent at responding to the AC issues we had and bought portable window units in until they had an opportunity to get someone to look at the unit. We were just fine with the window units. Only thing in the kitchen is it needs more baking type dishes. Nothing available to make a casserole or something like that in. Other than that we would stay here again

Beautiful view of Lake Lure

We had a great time at this home on Lake Lure. The house was clean, had plenty of room, and everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend with our family. The only issues we discovered were that there are no lights down on the dock/sitting area so you can’t really enjoy the space in the evening/night. And, there is no really good place to dock a boat because it’s on the main part of the lake with no wake restrictions; the boat will just get beat up on a busy lake day. If there was a docking space along the side , rather than directly out front, perhaps it would be better, but even then it would be rough. This is not a complaint, just helpful info for anyone planning to bring a boat.
