Beautiful views of Mirror Lake

Clean hotel with good service. The hotel is within walking distance to Lake Placid village shops/Main Street. It is across the street from Mirror Lake, which has a 2.7 mile walking path around it and there’s a nearby rental place for kayaks/paddle boards to use on the lake. Enjoyed our stay here.

Good view. The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t sit by the front to enjoy the lake view due to construction work. Also, the air conditioning system is so loud, you can not sleep due to the noise it makes every time it turns on.

The Hampton Inn Lake Placid is a resort - not only is it close to the Main Street shops and reataurants but the hotel itself had movie nights, kids activities, complimentary drinks and warm chocolate chip cookies and live entertainment on a Saturday night.

Nice location and clean but a couple issues: fire pit was out of commission … no chance to sit outside and enjoy the sunset with a fire. For the few seats out front by the lake, no cushions … unusable. Went inside to watch Monday Night Football … tv didn’t work. Breakfast was better than expected though .. overall, disappointed we couldn’t sit outside.

This was my first visit to this location, and I can only share positive feedback. In terms of location, I couldn't have asked for anything better. There’s a stunning mirror lake right in front of the hotel. The area is clean and peaceful. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean and of high quality. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices (cereals, yogurts, juices, omelettes, boiled eggs, sausages, herbed potatoes, bagels, a waffle maker with toppings, fresh fruits, protein shakes, and tea or coffee). The breakfast seating area was spacious. I would definitely return if we plan to visit Lake Placid in the near future.

The rooms were very clean and staff was absolutely accommodating!!! Bartender Carlos was great !! Food was not so great breakfast and bar food needs more of an upgrade. Paid extra for room with a lake view just to have 12 trees blocking my view very disappointing Rooms are expensive this time of year and we did expect a lil better with view and food
