House was very clean and welcoming. The outside patio area is delightful. Loved the list of recommendations for restaurants & we enjoyed the board games. Parking is tight, only enough room for 1 car. Bed nor pull out were very comfy.There were 2 issues, I’m not sure either was fault of owner but does keep me from leaving 5 stars. I would leave 4.5 if I could. 1- I did not receive any check in info & finally reached out to owner about 3pm. We heard back about an hour later & explained the message should have went out automatically and didn’t. We understood and it wasn’t a big deal. I am just comparing this to other VRBO hosts who reach out personally a day or 2 ahead of time. 2- there is a washer/dryer listed. I had to ask where they were located. Owner responded promptly & said they were shared with the front house. This wasn’t disclosed anywhere ahead of time that I saw. Also laundry is available from 8-8 according to the house rules listed in the book on the table. Which is understandable but the other house locked the back door and we couldn’t get in to do laundry the second day, even though there was a sign that said DO NOT LOCK. Laundry was crucial for us as we had traveled 3 days before a cruise. we booked a place we could wash clothes so we didn’t have to pack as much. We stuck around waiting until 9:20am and the door was still locked. Again probably not the owners fault but should be better communicated with both properties. Other than that it was a lovely stay.
