The gym/pool was very disappointing. Only 1 towel between 2 of us. The pool was occupied by a children's swimming lesson even though it wasn't on the timetable and the Jacuzzi was closed!

The property is old, the first room we were given stinked so we had to change. The second one was better but the pillows dirty. The hotel is along a busy road, half of the rooms are therefore very noisy. That said, the staff is lovely and hard working and the restaurant and bar are absolutely fine.

1 night stopover

Clean hotel. Pool was great, unfortunately we called the day we booked to enquire about using the pool, we were told by bookings that yes it was open. Arrived a few hrs later to find it closed until the next day. So check before if you are using the pool. Reception staff where fantastic and allowed a slightly later checkout (happy kids!) Would stay again. Breakfast was lovely!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The kitchen staff, in particular, were outstanding—very helpful and kind. However, there are some areas for improvement. The staff could be better prepared when assisting foreign guests, and the breakfast could use more variety and quality. The swimming pool was clean and looked nice, but the chemicals in the water were too strong and caused eye irritation. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement
