Stayed at this hotel a little over a month ago, and if I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. Upon arriving, it was clear that the hotel was not going to have great service due to the run-down nature of the building. It is very apparent that renovations and maintenance have not been a priority for this location. Since it is pretty much impossible to get a refund and book a hotel the same night, it was pretty much required that I tough through the stay for one night (due to the booking policy, it would not be possible to cancel my stay or request a refund because such would require a notice of 24 or 48 hours in advance). When I entered the hotel, I was greeted by staff and checked in, but they informed me that they would not permit tax exemption for a non-profit business if the customer booked through Expedia, which has never been a problem at any Comfort Inn & Suites I have been to (and I travel quite a bit). After checking in and entering the room, it clearly has not undergone any maintenance or repairs for a while. The carpet was peeling, the bathroom was disgusting with a stained and cracked toilet, a picture in the bathroom had broken glass, and there were apparent stains.
