If you like activities like swim with whale shark and swim with sardines. Don't stay here. Its far away from all activities. But if you want just to stay and hangout to their little beach and pool. This is fine. Just be prepared if you used their pool and beach, you cannot bring your own snack and drinks! Its kinda expensive

Perfect for a short stay

Loved it. Perfect for a short stay. Close to shops & restaurants. Very safe area. Small 3rd floor pool but chill. Small beach but OK, outside pool next to the beach is very cool.

Everything was great! We had stayed here 4X in the last 2-3 years. The only complaint I have is that the towels and the pillow covers smells like moldy. I couldn’t sleep because I was smelling the pillow’s moldy odors. I had to ask the housekeeper for different towels.

We were a group of 4 rooms and put in different floors and couldn’t go to visit each other.You can go only to your floor.We made reservations for Queen bed and they gave us twin beds, we had to change it. Rooms very small and no place to put your clothes. Stuff very nice helpful.

I had an amazing stay at the Belmont in Mactan, the only issue was having clear instructions about the beach, getting entry and taking the shuttle. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is new and modern. Newtown is a new modern development, like it's own city, with new roads buildings and beach area. The front desk gives you a wristband to access all the Newtown beach amenities. The pool water is so comfortably warm with swim-up bar stools and yummy drinks.

Pros - nice modern looking rooms - safe storage of bags pre check in - good value for money - walkable to Mactan new town shops / restaurants - don't hear noise from streets as high rise hotel Cons - can hear noise from hallway quite loudly - although they have a smart tv you can't get Netflix on it
