We booked this place last minute and truly wanted to enjoy our stay, but it ended up being stressful from the start. Right when we arrived, we were told the host had double-booked us, which immediately created unnecessary stress. Then we found a live scorpion inside the bedroom, which was terrifying—especially with our dogs and child there, since a sting could’ve seriously harmed them. I understand scorpions exist in the desert, but finding one inside where we sleep is unacceptable. When we reached out, the host’s response felt defensive and implied we wanted a free stay, though they did issue a partial refund. After leaving, we received payment requests for towels even though the bathroom leaked, the floor felt soft and spongy, and the shower wouldn’t drain, causing the towels to get wet from mopping up water. The place didnt match the photos and pool didnt even seem sanitary to get in and we were also rushed to check out before noon which only left us with 1 hour to get all of our stuff out of the house so their cleaning crew could come in early even though we had the reservation for two more days. Between the double-booking, scorpion, bathroom issues, poor communication, and extra charges, the whole experience was disappointing and not worth the stress.Sharing this so future guests—especially with pets or kids—know what to expect.

Beware location is concerning

Very very rough location. People standing in front of the house/driveway dressed in hoodies in extreme heat. All windows in the home were screwed shut to prevent or to make a bit harder to be broken into, which is a safety hazard if there were a fire. One of the bedrooms had a small table lamp on a nightstand beside the bed. Lamp had a 120w bulb and was on when we arrived. Curtain that was by the bed was touching the lamp and curtain was hot to the touch. House was mostly clean...bathroom in hallway had an eyelash on the faucet after house was supposedly cleaned hours before. I notified the host and told her my concerns and I received no response She communicated with me up until the point i had issues. We had no choice but to find another place to stay. I had my 8 year old granddaughter with me and was not about to take a chance on anything happening to her or ourselves. This home is unsafe on many levels.

Family stay

This property is NOT good. The neighborhood is terrifying. They told us their “cleaner” was finishing up but that we could head over to the house and when we pulled up that said “cleaner” was smoking drugs from a pipe in the driveway before they sped off. House is run down and the pictures are not updated to show how bad the condition is. Over all I would NOT recommend staying here. We had young kids and felt so unsafe we actually went to a hotel instead and didn’t even use our booking. After explaining our situation with the company and asking for a partial refund since we felt so unsafe, they said no. So, do with that what you will but there are much better options out there.

Location indeed

If you want perfect, this isn’t it but for the price and location, it’s a great deal. It fit for what we needed. A family get away to see the Vegas Golden Knights. Very close to most everything and host was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed except a pizza cutter. I meant to grab one and leave it but got sidetracked. I would recommend.

A bit misrepresentative on the photos, but the manager is easy to deal with

The property is in some pretty dire need of maintenance. Trims and flashings are very run down. Patio door doesn't slide. Upholstery really needs cleaning, and in some cases sewing repair. Pool needs to be painted. HVAC didn't work 2 of the 6 days we were there. Still, it was suitable. Oh, the neighbourhood isn't good.

Fun Stay

The property was a good distance away from the strip. Not too far, not too close. We did struggle finding good parking for the strip but that was user error. The property itself was well maintained and the area/neighborhood was clean and felt safe! We loved the pool even thought it was too cold to do much swimming, we still tried.

Great location, nice backyard

Lovely house exactly as advertised. 10-15 minute Lyft ride to the Venetian depending on time of day, so this turned out to be a great option when I was in town for a conference and wanted to stay off the strip. Host was responsive and everything was super straightforward. Thank you for a good week!

Group Stay for a Con

Admittedly, we weren't around much, but the house met our expectations and needs. We were in town for an event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We used a mix of public transit and ride shares to get around rather than renting a vehicle. However, the property having a garage was part of the consideration before we made that decision. We did not end up using the pool, largely because it was much cooler and dark outside when we returned. We did eat breakfast and made sandwiches to bring with us most of the days we were there and the ammenities allowed for that. Overall, it was a good experience.

The property was not in good shape: cracked and heaving tile floors throughout, broken doors, dead cockroaches in ceiling light, mold in shower, chipped paint and cracked walls, backyard full of debris and clutter, stained comforter and chairs, etc. The floors were so dirty our socks and feet were black. A dishwasher is depicted in the house layout illustration but it was not provided. Complimentary coffee was not there and the coffee pot was stained. The ice maker in the freezer did not work so we had no ice. Gourmet kitchen was a joke. We also felt the neighborhood was unsafe. Would NOT recommend to anyone! I am shocked there are so many positive reviews. I will be contacting VRBO directly with photos.

This place was clean and comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle when you need to relax after going out and about in Vegas. The pool was nice for all of us especially when you aren’t use to the heat and was a wonderful personal paradise.

Grand Canyon rest and a visit to the Strip

The property was great - it was exactly what our family needed to relax and recover after a grueling 3-day/2-night hike down the Grand Canyon and back on unmaintained trails. It's far enough away from the Strip to allow some quiet from the 24/7 action, but close enough for easy visits. The owners were great, communicated well and timely, and made the overall experience pleasurable and worry-free. One star downgrade for the neighborhood (which is really out of the owners' hands) - it's not super disconcerting, but it's also far from your 1950s white-picket fence property. Overall, a great value for what it offers!

At can drop off, it was a questionable exterior, which only got worse. The temperature in the house was a balmy 😬61 degrees but during nightfall it was 57 degrees. The thermostat? Locked up under plexiglass. They said they’d come turn it up and from there we heard a variety of stories-all different than what they told vrbo when I reported our stay. The owners did say they’d relay us our cleaning fee and 3 days stay if we didn’t say anything negative. But really, isn’t the truth the best since who knows who all have felt negative about this stay. Very run down. Floors heaved and cracked and likely to cut your feet. Couldn’t open or close the tiny master bath door because of floor upheaval. Had to wear shoes for safety but also the floor was freezing too. No internet or tv. There are TVs but no hookups. No dishwasher. -just a hole. All doors have been broken into. The exterior bank patio has been broken into enough-it does not lock anymore! The master bed has a hard core 3inch piece of foam that is like a board but you aren’t sleeping anyway-it’s too cold, and the windows allow EVERY sound. The airport. The sidewalk 2 feet from your window- yup. Heard it all. I’ve got pictures of anyone would like. NOTHING in this hosts pictures match reality. But it is clean and there are beds everywhere so if you have a huge group…the pool-though not heated-needs repair at this time too, as per owners daughter. I hope I get my money back. I hope the truth about this posted.
