This was my second stay at this hotel, but unfortunately the experience was awful. At 6:15 AM my toilet overflowed, and despite multiple calls, no one came for over an hour and a half. I was told maintenance had already “taken care of it,” which wasn’t true, then later told they couldn’t come because of a privacy light—so I turned it off and still they claim it was still on. My mom was in the room the entire time waiting and I was in the hallway waiting, no one came.
After repeated calls and even going down to the front desk, I was told the work order had been stopped because of a shift change. In the meantime, my mom, who has a disability, was left without a usable bathroom. When the toilet was finally fixed, it only flushed once before failing again.
Customer service was dismissive, communication was poor, and the entire situation was handled unprofessionally. I had to wait to speak to manager at the front desk for 15 minutes because they claim she was in a meeting. This was at 7:20 am. Interesting!!! Basic customer service, don’t make a customer wait. For such a basic necessity, this was incredibly inconvenient and stressful.
