Unfortunately, our experience at this property was not positive. Upon arrival, the individual who greeted us seemed to be confused as to why we were there. Shortly after, he injured himself and we had to call 911 for them. The EMTs deemed this individual to be under the influence, and that he planned to remain at the property for a few hours to sober up. This individual was unresponsive to any messages and was only reachable via phone call, if he answered at all. Only one key was provided, so he advised us to leave the side door unlocked, which made us feel very uncomfortable. A kind neighbor across the street had to ask us to move our cars, as he informed us that he rents out part of the yard space for parking, which was not conveyed to us by the property owner. When he finally left, the property did not seem prepared for guests. The beds had mismatched sheets that were stained, including a duvet blanket with no cover. The beds also had no flat sheet. There was no toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, or hand towels on the property and we had to purchase ourselves. There were a handful of beach towels. The room that has a twin bed is a twin cot, it is not a standard bed and mattress. Many of the bedrooms had a significant amount of small bugs. Due to the short notice, we had to continue our stay here as there were no other rentals available in the area my family lives. We only stayed at the property to shower and sleep. We would not recommend this property.

Fabulous location but caveat emptor.

We loved this location, so close to the beach, great restaurants and markets all around. This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood. (You’ll have to drive to get to the boardwalk ). Also, after a small conversation, the owner allowed us to bring our dog. This is not a shiny investor-owned property. It is the home of someone unused to renting and it shows in numerous ways and a professional cleaning crew had to be called in. But once the house was clean and decluttered, we had a good stay. Had I been staying only a few days I would have refused the unit and left, but we were staying for a month. Therefore I put up with the initial angst and we had a great time because of the location. Not all the pictures of this house are accurate. The office bedroom does not have a twin bed, it has a folding rollaway bed, and the side yard does not have the table that is pictured in it. There is a nice gas grill available that is not pictured. Lots of beach towels for use. The listing says bed linens are provided, but I found many unacceptable and had to buy some new. Bring all your own bed linens. Also, you will need bathroom towels and washcloths.
