The cottage, La petite Maison, is ideally located in a property surrounded by nature close to the town of Le Puy and the shops of Vals-près-le-Puy. It opens onto a hilly and wooded landscape. This rural and relaxing setting is its charm as well as the warm, cozy interior and a large terrace to better relax in front of nature.
From the Gîte, you can admire the landscapes that make the originality of Velay, by joining for example the Voie Verte, a path reserved for pedestrians and bicycles, which follows the route of an old railway line.
You can also, from Puy-en-Velay, discover remarkable natural sites: Polignac, the Gorges de la Loire, The Monts du Meygal, the Mézenc, the Gorges de l'Allier... There are many walks, excursions or sports activities that will allow you to take a bath in nature and calm.
An asset of the cottage is its proximity to the city center and easy access to cultural activities. Many seasonal events bring the city to life, the best known being the Fêtes du Roi de L’oiseau, in September, which recalls its rich Renaissance past.
To the particular location of the old town, which can be discovered while strolling, are added the attraction of many monuments: the Cathedral and its singular facade, the chapel of St Michel, the old Hôtel-Dieu... all of this in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
More broadly, you will be, we hope, seduced by a wild nature where the volcanic stone is highlighted by the colors of each season, and by a country where history is written in the bends of the alleys of the Old Town as on the paths of St Jacques de Compostela, Stevenson or Régordane (linking Puy-en-Velay and St Gilles du Gard).

Access is via the pleasant south-facing terrace. The living room is divided into two spaces: a charming lounge area -TV and a dining area with table, bar and beautifully crafted fitted kitchen. A sliding door gives access to the sanitary area consisting of a separate toilet, a pleasant bathroom and storage
Two bedrooms make up this property, a double with a view to the west and a twin offering two twin beds with a view of the rising sun.

Because they like to welcome as they do for their friends, your hosts have offered you an all-inclusive offer (heating, electricity, sheets, towels, cleaning)

The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and garbage cans), heating and electricity with reasoned and reasonable consumption - if the heating of the gîte is electric you have 15 Kwh per day (the excess will be paid on site to the hosts)
