Just don't.
I tried calling over 5 times around 10:00 the evening of check in to let them know I was going to be arriving late. No one answered. I FINALLY got customer service who ALSO tried calling Avid and they couldn't get through either. The customer service rep I spoke too wasn't sure if they'd cancel the reservation or not due to the late arrival. She "thought" I had until 2:00am. I made sure to get there as early as I could do avoid my room being cancelled. (I had to leave my daughter's dorm room I was helping her move in to, so I could check in before it was cancelled). Check in was fine, got to the room and there was a large, (thankfully) dead, bug on one of the beds. I was happy my room had two double beds, I just slept in the other one. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast the next morning was GROSS. The eggs were not eggs. There were no napkins (It was 8:00am by the way, I was the only one down there), one kind of breakfast sandwich.
