At first glance, everything seemed to be ok! A few hours into our stay, we noticed that the heat on the main floor was not working. As soon as we noticed it, we sent messages to the owner, but he was non-responsive for many hours. He sent over electric blankets late in the evening, about the time that we were going to bed. I was very upset at his lack of response and then ranted at me when I asked for a discount for not having heat in half the house, AN ESSENTIAL AMENTINITY, claiming that I was out of line and they went to all measures to help us. If responding after many hours, multiple messages, and phone calls and bringing us blankets (which he had no extra ones in the house) is going the extra mile, then I guess I'm out of line. I will not recommend this rental only because of the lack of communication and unprofessionalism of the owner.
