Probably our favorite stay in Ireland. Limerick was a delightful city to visit and Limerick Strand Hotel was a huge part of our enjoyable stay. Easy parking underneath the hotel, early check in offered at no additional cost and friendly hotel staff. Narayan was our server both nights we dined at the hotel restaurant and he was amazing! We are still amazed at how he was able to manage the entire floor seeminglt by himself.

Solid Business Hotel!

Very good stay, was there on business but got full use of the restaurant, bar, gym and pool. The restaurant was spot on with delicious fresh food. The gym is a good size but was busy, but it was 6pm. The pool is perfect and has a full selection of stream room and sauna. The room itself was a great size and full of all the amenities needed including free of charge bottled water. The bed was very comfortable and I haven't slept so well in a hotel in a long time. Breakfast had a good selection but maybe the quality of produce was lacking compared to the evening selection.

Although the other side of the River Shannon to the city it was only a short walk across the bridge. Unlike some other city hotels there not only was parking available under the hotel, but at the time we were there more than ample parking, albeit at a not insignificant cost. Our room was spacious, well decorated, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The inclusive buffet breakfast was very good and we also had a meal one night in the hotel which was good too. A very smart hotel in a lovely city.

Good option for limerick

It's a good location right next to the river. The hotel has access to a small lap pool, jacuzzi and gym in the building. The lobby and bar is nice. The room itself was a good size but a bit dated and slightly odd smell but not horrible.

Good location, good facilities all round but the parking had issues with the ticket being validated took 3 times to try and validate in the end staff opened the barrier for me. Could be a better system as I was late for my venue that day.

Our only meal on property was breakfast. We were sat down and after 15 mins after I flagged down a waiter who took our order then after another 10 mins my wife’s eggs came but nothing for me so I helped myself to the Buffett but we never once again saw a waiter Or waitress at our table during the entire breakfast
