Penha Longa Resort offers 204 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features iPod docking stations and minibars. Rooms open to balconies. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Memory foam beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets and down duvets. A pillow menu is available. 26-inch LCD televisions come with premium cable channels. Bathrooms include a separate bath and shower, bathrobes, slippers and designer toiletries.

Very nice Hotel in a beautiful setting. We spent 5 night and the first 3 days were wonderful until on the afternoon of the forth day an Indian wedding started. Three hours of loud drums welcoming the guest (you could hear it from the room) and the following afternoon again more drums for a procession ceremony that lasted another 2-3 hours. Hotels at this level should notify guests before booking about this type of event or (better) not allow the unnecessary noises.

I visited the property in March 2023 prior to booking for a trip with my wife and I in May 2025. The property is just run down. Capering needed top be replaced some time ago. Lobby bar was closed. Dining not available Sunday & Monday. I went to play golf, asked the day prior about the quality of the equipment and was assured it was brand new. Shame on me I should have checked before leaving the clubhouse. The equipment was FAR from new. To add insult to injury I found out on the first pay 5 the 3 wood was actually broken. Stunning ambiance for a property, but need a major investment to garner the rates they charge.

We had a wonderful stay here. Even though it was pouring rain the whole time, we loved all the amenities that were offered at Penha Longa. The staff were incredibly helpful and very kind. Every single one we came in contact with. The indoor pool and spa facilities were amazing! The beautiful chocolate were so special and we bought lots to take home. Our Junior Suite was comfortable and the room service was quick and very good for the kids. We loved our stay and would have loved to stay much longer. Great hotel!

I cannot give enough positive accolades for my stay. The resort is stunning, all the food was modestly priced and exceptional. I didn’t have a single bad meal. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the pools were great! Especially the staff was exceptional. Each restaurant we dined in did not disappoint, you don’t even have to leave. Only gripe is the several day Indian wedding blaring their music during their festivities our entire stay. Could have done without that experience.

We loved Ritz Carlton Penha Longa. Excellent hotel with beautiful room, great pool and spa and a golf course, if that is your thing. Convenient to both Sintra and Cascais. 2 different Michelin starred restaurants on property and a very nice breakfast.

L’endroit est très beau mais les chambres on besoin de beaucoup d’amour. J’ai organiser un congrès à l’hôtel en 2000 et il me semble que rien n’a changer dans les chambres ainsi que le mobilier. Besoin de beaucoup d’amour.
