Great apartment but very noisy at night

The apartment was really clean, spacious, and had a big TV — perfect for party goers. However, I didn’t realise there was a row of bars and clubs directly behind my room. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep at all due to the noise from the late-night party crowd. That was the only thing that let the venue down.

Ended up not staying and booking another hotel! Felt unsafe as just myself and my daughter. Random man who knew the key code, let us in. Music properly booming from bars below, even though apartment was on 3rd floor. No way we could have slept until after 3am! Told that’s what we should expect when booking an apartment on Cavern St after speaking to management. Apparently the random man was security!!! We thought he was homeless as lots of homeless people outside the property when we arrived! Avoid unless you wish to party into the early hours and you have a male companion!!

This property is loud, but that wasn't a problem for me. I enjoyed hearing the music and live singing floating through the apartment from the pubs. I actually sang along quite often. If you want quiet, this isn't for you. However, if you want a walkable area that feels like Nashville, with all of the conveniences you'll need, this is the place for you. The apartment is beautiful, big and comfortable.

Great apartment. Shame the sofa is small and very uncomfortable. Good price for a Friday night. Very noisy but what do you expect you're near Matthew Street. Take ear plugs! Shops, restaurants and pubs on your doorstop and a taxi rank.

Convenient located apartment ideal for two couples together who want to cook in the adequate kitchen. Place was in need of some repairs and repainting with a stain on the ceiling from a leak, but otherwise OK. Bit noisy at night and early morning as it backs onto Mathew Street, but that’s the price for a great location. Some tea and coffee would have been a nice touch - I wish I’d brought my own!

Fantastic property, excellent location

Great location in the centre of Liverpool, two minutes from the bars in Matthew Street. Convenient taxi rank opposite and plenty of shops if you are staying a bit longer and want to use cooking facilities in the apartment. Self check in works brilliantly as all details are sent in advance. Discounted parking is a five minute walk away. Absolutely perfect, definitely recommend

Musical bliss

It’s ideally placed overlooking the iconic Cavern Club. We expected loud music well into the early hours and you certainly had this in the bedroom overlooking but the main bedroom was relatively quiet. Be aware a road sweeper cleans Mathew St at 0500 and that was loud lol. If you want a music experience in the heart of the city I’d recommend this apartment.
