In need of a refurb

Clearly had been a great hotel but somewhat needs a refurb. Room was well appointed, fridge was a nice surprise. However, one towel was full of holes, and the beds were VERY uncomfortable due to the mattresses being well past their best. We requested, and we're promised that the mattresses would be changed while we were out for the day, however on our late return if it had been changed then only worth another past-it mattress.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and efficient. The facilities were excellent, and parking was very easy. All round, the hotel was nice and clean. Food was very good, especially the breakfast, tasty, hot and plenty. It was an easy walk into the town. All round, a great experience for us, highly recommended.

Awful

Wedding at the hotel and noise level is extremely bad. We have asked to change rooms but they said it was fully booked. Music is very loud and its impossible to sleep. Its a shame we were not told beforehand... We will ask for a refund but knowing these kind of hotels, i doubt we will get anything.

The manager was very rude he went under my table and took a bootle of un opened vodka wich had not been opened and was in a bag had no right it was a present he put it at reception he had no right to look under my table my first room wat was allocated had no aircom working so the hotel moved us it was the manager wat spoilt out night I was not even drinking and we was at a family wedding
