Hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in. If I had to be critical, the only two negatives are the noise in the swimming pool area, which they may not be able to change, extracting fans and no guaranteed parking. I left my vehicle in place the whole stay. The town centre is just around the corner and there are lots of different restaurants, and cafes.

Excellent Hotel and staff. Gluten Free options

Hotel staff were really nice, nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and had a lovely 70th Birthday meal in Chantreys. Food was excellent. Plenty of Gluten Free options for my friend. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and warm. Looking forward to a return visit.

Imperial hotel October 2025

Lovely clean, spacious room. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Used pool and steam room/sauna, nice clean areas. Hotel reception staff welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Rest of hotel kept clean and well presented, bar and restaurant areas are nice too. Lovely lights in corridor from reception to lifts. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

A lovely place to stay; deserving of its 4 stars without being stuffy. Excellent gluten free breakfast options. 10 mins walk from the railway station and from shops and restaurants, right on the prom.

Not far from train 🚆 station, friendly staff helpful, I will stay again , nice hotel just to sit and let the world go by , food and drink available all day , plenty to do around the area the town is lovely , like a time gone by .
