A Grand Old Lady

The Sarakawa Hotel is the grand old lady of Lomé, she is well equipped and although she is beginning to show her age on the outside still offers a true yesteryear experience. Built on a 25 hectare piece of land next to the ocean you can’t ask for more. Olympic size swimming pool with adjacent bar and restaurant you can’t help but feel unencumbered by all the space available, so that even when the occupancy numbers are high, you still feel like you’re the only one there.

We were a family of 4 traveling for a family event and arrived on July 20 for a one week stay. We had two bungalows and both had molds. The staff at the front desk were very unprofessional and unfriendly. Only the staff at the two restaurants were courteous and friendly. Will not stay there again.
