I had a terrible experience at this hotel. It doesn’t even deserve one star.
Below are the issues I experienced during my stay:
1) A major disturbance occurred between approximately 2:45 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on November 20.
2) During this time, 3–5 guests were involved in loud arguments and what appeared to be a physical altercation directly outside my hotel room. My door was kicked, and I was extremely frightened. I was staying alone, which made the situation even more unsettling for the remainder of the night.
3) The police became involved, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
4) When the disturbance began, I attempted to contact the hotel reception multiple times, but no one answered, and no assistance was provided.
5) As a result, I was unable to sleep for the rest of the night.
6) At checkout, the receptionist was unprofessional and impolite. He did not ask about my stay, nor did he acknowledge or apologize for what had happened.
7) Most disappointing of all, Alexandra Hotel refused to refund my one-night stay, stating that the “current rules and restrictions for your booking apply,” which I assume refers to the booking being non-refundable. However, the hotel failed to provide a safe environment, acted irresponsibly, and let the customer down. I found their response rude and completely unacceptable.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
