Really uncomfortable hard mattresses, staff tried to tell my mum breakfast wasn’t included then made a big point to make sure she only had a continental breakfast. Hardly welcoming! It was a lot of money for not a lot of sleep, we probably won’t be staying again.

The room was very nice and the property was beautiful. I needed to run some errands the next day and they were able to store my luggage until it was time for me to catch my next train. Breakfast was wonderful as well and I only did the Continental version. The food was great and the staff very helpful.

Good hotel, great location

I took my daughter to London to do some shopping, this hotel is only five minutes walk from Oxford Street, there are plenty restaurants nearby. The hotel is easy to get to from Kings Cross Station, we caught the bus to the hotel but on the way back we walked to the station, it only took 20 minutes. The room was is very clean, comfortable beds, great bathroom with shower, iron and iron board in the room but no fridge, we never use the drinks provided in hotel fridges but buy our onw and keep them chilled in the fridge, we just lived without it, very quiet street even though it's so close to Oxford Circus. Staff are friendly and helpful, free continental breakfast included but you have to pay extra for full English Breakfast. Free cancellation was also included which was nice as most other hotels you have to pay extra to include free cancellation. We go to London for sort breaks regularly and would stay in this hotel again.

Perfect for a weekend in London.

Great boutique hotel close to SoHo and Regent park. Comfortable rooms (ours was a bit noisy close to the stairs, and not very quiet). Lots of great cafes and restaurants close by and very to walk around or jump on the Tube.

Highly recommend

Had a great stay at Gem Fitzrovia! Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was good. Employees were great (especially Niluka at breakfast). Nice neighborhood and close to tube station.

Uncomfortable beds like concrete

We booked a superior twin, the room was clean but there was blood stains on the duvet, the beds and pillows were so hard our backs were killing us in the morning. In fact you sat on the bed and there was no give, after falling down the stairs at home laying and sitting on something this hard did not help. The only good thing for me was the location for the places we were visiting. I would not stay here again.
