The staff was not helpful at all. The room had the smallest bathroom I've ever saw in all Europe (see pics). The front desk lady was rude and not helpful at all, she just kept babling about her 40 years experience in the industry, which I doubt, being treated much better in other hotels, where the goal is to help customers. We wanted to change room due to the small bathroom and the only response (form that lady) was to upgrade making an additional payment. When mi wife explained that the rate for Sunday night was well below what we paid, the only answer was the rhetoric about her 40 years of experience. Not happy at all. I hoped Expedia, our agency, would stand by us but that didn't happen. We had to pay 40 English pounds in addition to what we already paid to get a room with a decent size bathroom We are not coming back to London House Hotel ever, after that fiasco. I will not recommend going to that hotel to anybody

Really nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Plenty of hot water and heat. Rooms are small and you can hear people outside but that didn’t bother us. The neighborhood is beautiful and near all public transportation, and it’s near nice restaurants, souvenir shops, and grocery stores. A really nice surprise with the cleanliness and kind staff (cleaners & front desk).

Quiet neighborhood adjacent to a private park. Small hotel in residential area but short walk to commercial street with ok restaurants. Not far from Notting Hill with excellent choices for food and boutiques. Room was tiny with two twin beds that were soft. Affordable and serviceable.

Staff was great when we checked in. However, the cleaners were extremely loud when they started cleaning at 7:30/8. Also, the rooms were TINY. No way can two people share a room! Unless they don’t have any luggage. The rooms were HOT and stuffy. No air would turn on. We could t even turn the heat off all the way, so had to open a window which was super loud throughout the night. Also, the rooms are not soundproof. You can hear everything and people make a lot of noise at all hours of the night. I wouldn’t stay here again, unfortunately.

What a lovely English Hotel- with an elevator. The staff were all so very helpful and friendly. Made you feel like family. Bayswater is a great location! Lots of good eats, pubs, international cuisine and close to the Tube and bus stations. You can walk to Hyde park and Harrods- though I took the tube because if my mobility issues. Prince Alfred’s Pub was a nice afternoon respite with a hot Irish Coffee. Coffee at Granier’s is excellent and breakfast at Les Filled Cafe was delicious! As was the coffees and Chai. I’ll be back!
