First of all, communication can be done through WhatsApp once checked in, which is an introvert's dream come true, not having to speak with anyone. The hotel is conveniently located near Paddington Station. There are places to eat within a short walk of the hotel. Daily house cleaning available and free water on request. The only thing I did seem impractical was that the showers and sink was in one room and the toilet was in another room, it was odd. Staff was lovely and helpful

This hotel is really close to Paddington, just a 5-10 minute walk away. The room was simple but comfortable. The sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable though for an adult!

Check in was good. The restaurant is ok. The shower door didn’t / does not seal and water leaks on to the floor and carpet in the sleeping area. The carpet is stained and curtains are stained . Sound proofing is very good. The location of the hotel is convenient to Paddington station and restaurants & shops.

Nice stay but a few misses

Room was clean but outdated: no plugs near bed and the aircon was ancient. It was warm in the room when we came in and it took ages for it to cool when you turn the air con on. Bed was comfortable. Very strange toilet was separate from the bath/shower. Breakfast was nice, but no porridge on offer. Pool was small but perfect for the little one, although you had to turn on the sauna yourself and wait for it to heat up.

Beautiful Lobby, But Rooms Need Serious TLC

Check-in was unusual – I was asked to sit at a table rather than a reception desk. The staff were lovely but the process felt clinical. I didn’t book an accessible room, but that was all that was available; I was given a drinks voucher for the inconvenience but not sure whether it was to do more, so with the fact that I said I was there to attend a big content creator event. No info was provided about the pool, restaurant, or luggage storage unless I asked. But at least they tried to grab some more money by offering me breakfast. Room 408 was disappointing. I have never felt dirty walking into a hotel room until I stayed here. Yellow ripped wallpaper, dusty curtains/netting, a CREEPY picture above the bed, a rusty bathroom, a kettle straight from 2004, a huge non-smart TV with a sticky remote to go with it ofc added to the grimy feel. The bed was mid, no sockets near it, and despite being accessible, the space felt cramped in areas. Facilities were okay, but small. I chose not to use them, but at least the changing rooms looked cleaner. The saving grace is the location – pedestrianised, felt safe, near shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, the canal, and Paddington Station. Lobby and public spaces are beautiful, modern, and clean. The morning staff were lovely on the 25th of August. Overall, better suited for business travellers/families. Fine for a short stay if you’re out and about, but I wouldn’t stay here to relax. I wouldn’t pay over £120/night for the rooms.
