Needs more than just a location

The Hotel has a great location and reception staff were very friendly. The room door had hand painted flowers on it which looks lovely but the room needs work. The bed is very comfortable and I slept well, the TV is too small. The outside of the wardrobe looked nice but inside chipped shelf and the desk was damaged where you could see the chipboard. One of the glass bedside tables was bent so when I put the bottle of water on it, it slides off. Bathroom a good size but glass screen not clean. The Hotel is missing a trick here the rooms could be wonderful with some upgrades and attention to detail which is lacking. Corporate are not doing a good job if they are relying on location only it's a mistake. How the rooms at Blu Bristol are superior to London is beyond me.

I would say to avoid this hotel

Room very basic. Blind didn’t cover window so from 5:30am sunlight came through making it impossible to sleep in. Bed very small for a double. Upsold breakfast on checkin and then couldn’t use as son was poorly. No refund and service terrible - no compassion that son was sick, couldn’t get through to room service to order breakfast and then had to pay for something that we didn’t have. Much better Leicester Square hotel options around although the location is great.

Very central to Coffee shops and restaurants. Very close to an underground station. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Rooms can be noisy as the Hotel is on a busy square.

I went there with my adult son. I had requested on booking a twin room. On arrival was told no twin rooms or bigger rooms available. I was advised if I had booked through hotel rather than hotels.con I may have had my request granted. Had booked a superior room. Room was dated with small double bed. My son is 6’2. So overall a very uncomfortable experience.

It’s ok for an over night stay in london

It used to be a lovely hotel but the rooms are now dated. Having said that it was clean and the location is great. I am a gold member and no acknowledgment of this at check in. But after o mentioned did allow us early check in. The concierge really went out his way to make our experience better. A credit to this hotel!

The location could not be better, all tourist attractions nearby. Picadly circus 5 min walk away. Rooms are old, cleaning team us not good at all, bathrooms had hairs from previous guest in. I woke up with construction workers sand papering the wall next to my bed. Sound insulation not good at whole, you can hear people talking in room next door.
