The hotel staff at check in was very bias towards me. I am brown skinned, the first thing that the staff member said to me was ‘ are you traveling to Pakistani’ I felt very annoyed. As. I am not traveling to Pakistani and not from there. I might be brown skin like her but to be bias like to a customer is not right. This is form of racism. I felt very uncomfortable. You never presume where a person is traveling because of their skin colour. This is form of racism. I was also charged £50 for deposit, I was not given any paper work for this, I therefore hope that I get this deposit back within the 3-5 timescale. Otherwise I will make a formal compliant. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Great stay, great staff, no shuttle service had to use a Hoppa bus which was an hour wait or a taxi for 20 quid. We took the taxi, Breakfast was very well presented, very tasty, lots of options. Very friendly staff with a shout out to Amalne who is from Portugal and has worked there almost 20 years, she was amazing, sorry if I have gotten name incorrectly spelled.

"Great Value and Location, but experience ???????

I regularly stay at this hotel and find it to be well located and very good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although they are starting to feel a little dated. A refresh or modernisation would go a long way, though I understand this may be part of how the hotel maintains its competitive pricing. Where the experience could really be improved is in the service, particularly at the Steak & Lobster restaurant during evening hours. While the quality can be acceptable at times, it often falls short—ranging from average to quite disorganised, which detracts from the overall guest experience. One recurring issue is the handling of VIP Radisson Rewards benefits. As a frequent guest and rewards member, it's disappointing to repeatedly have to present the 16-digit membership number in order to access the benefits, particularly after a meal. It would be much more seamless and guest-friendly if the restaurant had a way to recognise rewards members in advance or link the benefit more efficiently at check-in or reservation stage. With some attention to service consistency and a more modern guest experience, this hotel could become a go-to choice not just for value, but for quality as well.
