This is a very nice property with friendly and helpful staff. The large rooms are well appointed and in stark contrast to the tiny ones generally found in London.

The suite was really nice and the staff very friendly. As it is an old building, the windows are a bit small which makes the room darker but it fits the interior design. Overall we had a really nice stay at this hotel for two nights. Currently there is a big construction site opposite the hotel and while the road was closed, it wasn't noisy.

Great decor and room design that made the room very comfortable and stylish. Reception staff were great! Location worked well for my work event. However, it's let down by a few inconveniences but it did not ruin my overall stay: in-between stay clean did not refill amenities such as tissues. Way to reach the reception via messaging was not prompt as did not receive reply about my faulty and leaking iron so had to go downstairs to address the issue. The room service and breakfast menu was quite limited.

Would definitely stay here again. Had booked a Superior King room. Didn’t know all of those rooms are accessible rooms and the one we were initially given faced the street and the huge construction across the street. Ellie at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. She offered us an upgrade (for a price) and when she found out I didn’t like red, she got us a blue room junior suite facing into an enclosed atrium- super quiet. Great room!!! Sheets were high quality. King bed, seemed a bit smaller than the king sizes that I’m used to. Had to open windows to cool down room. The complimentary coffee, water and a few small snacks were nice. I loved the Penhaligon products in the bathroom!!! Wished they were in small travel sizes so I could take them with me. Definitely would rate it a 4.5 star hotel. They offered a glass of champagne while we waited for a room for early checkin.

Despite the building work opposite the hotel, which can’t be helped, the hotel experience wasn’t affected, great soundproofing! Staff were extremely attentive, friendly & professional. Overall, a great experience.

I booked several rooms, my room seemed to have water pressure issues, I had no hot water running from the taps or shower, I reported it, nothing was done. A friend shower door fell off its hinges onto her. They added additional drinks on to the rooms, which they did take off when we said, but did try and charge for one room even though I had already paid! Not great service, I asked to be contacted when the relevant person came on duty - I’m still waiting!
