This property is perfectly situated for many purposes—British Museum and Library are walkable and bus is reasonably local for both Trafalgar and Parliament Squares. Most important the service is personal, lending a touch of comfort.

The staff were excellent and so friendly, and the breakfast was so good! My only problem was the creaking floor overhead in our bedroom. The occupants started moving about from 5am and so that put an end to a very comfortable sleep!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Montague and were impressed by the attentive, friendly service. There were many choices for breakfast which was served in a beautiful dining area. We enjoyed the Leopard Bar and the dinner option one night. Both were excellent in their service, drink and food choices. The hotel is clean, well decorated with a comfortable common room. We would love to come back and stay again!

Staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Location could not be beat. The Leopard Bar with jazz music was wonderful to come home to. For first timers, this provides a nice pivot point for other sightseeing. Cozy historic feel.

Safe and Centrally Located Location

I had a wonderful stay at The Montague On The Gardens. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe, and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. The Montague is centrally located to access all the tourist sights or is a quick bus ride to anywhere you want to go. I highly recommend The Montague On The Gardens.

Outstanding Service

This hotel had the best customer service I ever experienced. The staff was amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. There were also so many extras. (Free coffee in the morning, hot chocolate in the afternoon, turn down service with cookies or chocolates left). They even remembered my birthday with a message from the manager with cupcakes. They left a note regarding New Years Eve along with activities going on in the city. They also helped figure out transportation to the airport for an early flight where we needed to leave before the underground was operating. They had people on standby in the early morning just in case we wanted coffee! Outstanding service every step of the way!!! Thank you for an incredible stay that I’ll never forget and I’ll tell anyone who will listen!!! One note, is that they due include a 15 pound per day service charge for each day. I feel the staff deserves every bit of it! Thank you again!!!!!!
