Was put in a room without windows, and then moved to a very small room afterwards when I said I couldn’t stay without windows. Had a great room the previous time. Also a lot of it was closed probably time of the year. It’s a good vibe but maybe best not off season as for the money there’s much better around.

Very warm and welcoming stafr from front desk to Isla breakfast room and bar. Hotel is superbly located for Kings X and St Pancras, and despite this, the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Beds are huge and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful first stay at the Standard. The hotel is very up market and our room was spacious and stylish with modern amenities. We stayed in a suite with a dining area, bath in the room and balcony. It was perfect for our first family trip away with our one year old daughter. Having room service available was brilliant so we could have breakfast in the room before getting ready for the day. Lastly, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really can't fault our stay and wish it had been longer.
