My favorite hotel in London

We had a great stay. The hotel is an architectural gem. Every touch from the amenities, the food, and the staff was delightful. The Standard is our first choice when staying in London.

Perfect location for anyone traveling in or out on Eurostar! The room with no windows was big enough for two and could have slept four with a ginormous couch. Beautiful place to stay. Beautiful.

This hotel has charged me three times for the same bill - and they have been so RUDE about it. Upon checkout, I paid for the burger I ordered from room service. Due to an issue with their terminal, to date I have been charged THREE times for the one burger - which also includes a £10.50 service fee each time (totalling nearly £80 in charges, for one burger at this point). I understand that glitches occur, but the male staff member was so incredibly rude about it - and they have not responded to my follow up email, requesting that the duplicate charges be reversed. Location of this hotel is amazing. But it isn’t worth the price $$.
