Hotel is very outdated. No elevator, no AC unless paying extra, rooms and bathrooms are pretty small. Water flow is pretty low. No microwave. Staff is very friendly but I believe price is not that great considering there are many lack of amenities.

The rooms were very small but extremely clean. We stayed here 2 years ago, so we knew the rooms would be smaller than we are used to in the US. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were able to drop off our luggage several hours before check-in. When we came back to check-in, they had already placed our luggage in our room. It is very close to Paddington station so getting anywhere in the city was easy. There was also plenty of eating places close by.

Air conditioning warning

Air conditioning was advertised on hotels.com as an included amenity but was then asked to pay a fee for a room with air conditioning which was extremely disappointing. The room was up several flights of stairs and hot and stuffy - the window only slightly opened too. The bathroom was incredibly small and there was no room to move. There was a small fan that helped and the reception was very nice to us although they did ask for a fee to check in one hour early.

This is a budget hotel. While the description states that they have AC, we had to pay 10 pounds extra to use it. This seems to be unethical, because they shouldn't be allowed to say the room has AC and then raise the booking price. Customers should know how much their room costs at booking. The property also doesn't have an elevator, so if you cannot climb stairs, do not book.

Easy access from paddington station. Great front desk service. Small rooms on top floors takes getting used to but serves the purpose during tourism. Don't take top floor rooms if a lot of stairs is a problem for you!

A single room is the size of a large walk-in closet. It says that the hotel is air-conditioned but that doesn’t mean that your room is air-conditioned and if you want to be cool that will cost you £10 per night. I had no way of knowing this prior to my arrival. They said it was on the website but it must have been some very small fine print because I never saw it and of course this information was not available through my reservation on Expedia. Punishment for travelers who happen to be traveling without a partner. Was very happy to get to Paris and be in a normal room after this experience in London.

Safe and location is great

The hotel is close to Paddington train station. Great location with anything you need is nearby. Lots of restaurants near by. But the hotel is great and clean. I felt safe. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I will definitely come back and stay here. There are no elevators but will def help you with your luggage. I enjoyed my stay here.

Not a great spot.

The staff was warm and welcoming. Very friendly, but did not do much to resolve our issues. The room we were in was tiny and HOT. Mentioned it to the staff several times, but no accommodations were made for it. Wouldn’t stay there again unless in a bind.

We went to the hotel and checked into the room but we had to leave due to a personal emergency, further more when we went into the room, the room was not even an actual room it was a partitioned off area, the bathroom stank and the smell wasted into the partition and the shower head was leaking, there was no air conditioning and they said that we would have to remove our baggage and put it into storage so that they could install it the next day, although I continuously emailed their management team and begged for a refund after leaving the hotel, the management team completely ignored my emails

Working person's hotel. You will see your plumber here or low budget tourists. This is not high end but perfectly functional. Safe and quiet and very convenient to Paddington which in turn is very convenient for railways west, Heathrow, Hyde Park and the subway.

Booked a single room with en-suite. As detailed in the description and other reviews this room was tiny and so was the bathroom so as expected. The room layout had been well thought through and very effective for the space. Very clean and felt new. Feels like staying at somebody’s house with lots of stairs and rooms off at every level. Staff was extremely welcoming and super helpful. Location was fantastic for transport and restaurants, and for the price, definitely recommend.

The facility is quaint it is a large walk up w no elevator . The staff is full device and lovely/ kind, happy and helpful . The rooms are teeny . With no added luggage it’s doable- but be aware it is small spaces but the price was right, walkable and very close to paddington station and bus stops
