Looks like the property is being refurbished. From fresh carpet to modern furniture, to new bathroom to a comfortable bed, a new TV and USB charging ports everywhere and lovely LCD lighting. There’s not much to complain about. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Comfortable and clean! Friendly staff. Gave us a space to store our extra stuff so we wouldn’t attract bears in the Whitney Portal parking lot while we were backpacking and summiting Whitney. Great, comfy bed before heading up the trail!
