Cozy 2BR, 1BA cabin with queen beds plus a futon in the living room. Sleeps 4 comfortably (6 maximum). Just 1/4 mile to the beach and downtown Long Beach, and only a few blocks from the market, brewpubs, and restaurants. Enjoy nearby hiking, shopping, museums, and coastal adventures.
Relax in the large yard with Wi-Fi, Smart TV, DVDs, and a covered porch with a propane fire pit.
Pacific Alder is a Certified Wildlife Habitat® through the National Wildlife Federation, and the yard has been thoughtfully cultivated as a wildlife garden. Keep an eye out for native birds, butterflies, and our resident wood duck house, which provides nesting habitat each spring.
The property is also home to a small honeybee apiary tucked away on the south side of the property, behind a two-car garage. The bees play an important role in supporting the surrounding habitat and flowering plants. Honey bees are generally gentle and focused on gathering nectar and pollen. If you see a bee buzzing nearby, it's most likely just passing through on its way to forage. They rarely sting unless defending their hive or if they feel trapped or threatened.
Hosted by a local intuitive energy practitioner and Reiki master, this peaceful cabin is an ideal retreat for rest, renewal, creative escapes, and a chance to reconnect with nature.
