The village is surrounded by a selection of footpaths and trails, while the south coast has secluded coves and quaint fishing villages all within 10 miles. Jump in the car for 6 miles and you'll reach the fishing resort of Looe, the perfect place to embark on a fishing trip or visit independent shops and cafes. Catch the ferry to Fowey for some sailing and water sports, Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary, or the Adrenalin Quarry, all within 15 miles.

Follow the meandering path to this fabulous lodge, ideally located with beautiful countryside views and on the owner’s land. Enter through the large glass patio doors and into an inviting, spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With its large, comfortable sofas and exposed beams, this really is a wonderful place to snuggle up together beside the wood burner and watch all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The kitchen is impressive with its contemporary decor and open shelving, and boasts an electric oven and hob and fridge with freezer compartment, along with everything you could possibly need to either pack up a good lunch for a day out exploring or cook a delicious evening meal. Sit down at the dining table and chairs for two and relax. A handy utility area is hidden alongside the kitchen and contains a microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The main bedroom is off the lounge and features a king-size bed, plenty of storage and a Smart TV, as well as plenty of natural light through the stunning glass patio doors that lead out onto the terrace. This really is the perfect spot to have breakfast in bed or enjoy a lazy morning. The en-suite features a double shower and WC.

Outside is a wonderful terrace with a private hot tub to bubble away in, as well as a splendid lawn area and pond to enjoy, which does link to the owner’s garden but is still very private. There is private off-road parking for one car.
