Perfect place for weary travelers

The owner was still there when we arrived which was a comfort if we needed anything. We wish we could have stayed longer but got in late and had to leave early. The shower was hot and strong, the beds were comfy and there was plenty of space. The only complaint is that we were cold when we arrived and the heater is only in the front room. We had a kid on the pull out sofa and in order for him to not sweat all night we went without and were chilly in the back rooms. The Whole Foods is walking distance for necessities.

I had to cancel the reservation on the morning of my stay because our airport was closed due to a blizzard. I lost the entire first nights deposit, even the tax. I would have liked at least a partial refund, since it was an "act of God", and they could have rented my room to someone else -- or certainly saved on the cleaning cost.

Adorable place

Cute place, okay location. Very cute remodel on an older motel building. The location was a bit noisy, right off a busy road. Had to wait almost 45 minutes after we arrived at 4:30 for the maid to finish cleaning. It was a bit chilly, but the kids made the most of the table tennis patio.

Loved it!

Overall the property was a stunning little getaway in the busy streets of Venice, I would 100% stay again. My only notes for improvement would be adding some more ventilation in the bathroom (my hot shower set the fire alarm off!) & putting in an AC/fan, but otherwise things were perfect! Felt super safe staying there by myself as a young woman.

As beautiful and nice as it was the only source of heat was a wall heater that only warmed about five foot of the 1100 sqft area we rented. And it was hard to sleep every window curtain was see thin material and the rooms were bright from lights right outside the window. It was like sleeping with the light on in every room. The owner was amazing though I wish them the best
