I booked for the experience. But the novelty wore off and was just annoyed at the service and logistics. Pros: History and layout/location were very cool. Area around had amazing views. Cafe had great ice cream Cons: 1. was given room A101 which was right next to the lobby and lounge. Expected some noise based on previous reviews. Was advised by front desk that quiet hours start at 10:30pm (Saturday night). That was fine. What was NOT fine was that the midnight ghost tour had a “Break” right outside in the lobby. So we were rudely awaken at 1:00am to a group of people yelling, laughing talking. Then at 7am, noise began again. 2. Booking said room qualified for 40% discount on tours. When we arrived to book, was told that only applied to daytime tours, not the midnight tour we were interested. Told the lady there did not appear to be any notes of exclusion. She said she will forward to promotion team. Nothing was done. 3. when we looked to book the tour on the website, it showed availability for Jan3 and 4. Thought the 4th would work better for our schedule. Went to book for the morning of the 4th, was told, midnight tour was canceled due to no bookings. So we missed out. 4. Check out is at 11:00am. At 10:35ish, cleaning lady knocked on our door. Told her we will be leaving soon but still finishing our packing. At 10:56am, as we were just grabbing our luggage to leave, another knock by the “supervisor”. A bit aggressive for checkout. 5. Wifi is awful in room

Hotel stay was excellemt. Only negative was there is nothing around. So after a midnight ghost tour that ended 2:15 am we were all hungry. Wish the hotel had a better selection in the snack bar after hours. We had to uber taco bell that was very expensive. Overall great time. Staff and tour guides were very nice.

The staff at every level are top notch and are the main reason our experiences are what they are.
