Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at the large size of the room and the fridge and cooktop and dishwasher! Would love to stay nexr year if our school returns for the archery nationals!
This place is very quiet and clean. They are doing some reno on the third floor. Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Staff could have been more friendly but they weren’t rude either.
Upon entering my room, there was a used water bottle, spray bottle with cleaning solution inside, and a phone charger left on the desk area. The linen on the bed had grease stains. The staff on duty, acknowledge my concerns, but it seems as though someone had been I the room before I arrived and I was not pleased with the bedding.
It was just ok. The room did have a slight odor. I figure it was a dog smell since it us a pet friendly hotel. There waa not enough outlets by the bed either. Kinda weird when we got off the elevator on our floor that one whole wing was blocked off for construction.
We had a volleyball tournament to attend there in Kentucky. Frong desk staff was amazing.
The next morning after checking in i wrapped up thr towels from the night before and asked for fresh ond they gave me everything but the body towels, they were drying. When i came back i saw housekeeping in the hallway and asked for 2 body towels. She reached in a basket, not her cart, and gave me 2 towels. I thanked her and went to my room. When i got back to the room i picked up the towels i got earlier and seen it was ants in the towel. I took the towels to housekeeping to she her and she just picked it off and flung it on the floor. She tossed the towels in that basket, yes the same basket she gave me the 2 body towels from earlier. I asked her why did she give me dirty towels and all she said was sorry.
I went to the front desk to let him know and he offered to give me IHG points and a sincere apology.
I will be contacting the corporate office tomorrow morning.
