The villa and the adjoining property were built in 1991 and are built and finished to very high standards using traditional materials. Both properties enjoy large spacious rooms furnished in traditional styles and are located in a long cul-de-sac street lined with other detached high end villas of differing styles with a turning circle at the end. We hired a car as we knew that it would facilitate our trips to both Vilamoura and Quarteira as we usually eat out in the evenings at several of the local restaurants. Unfortunately, our first week was badly affected by thunderstorms (Storm Claudia) but the villa was protected by metal shutters on all windows and our host Carlos supplied us with heaters. I contacted him with a couple of problems that arose and he came out immediately and the issues were resolved very quickly to our complete satisfaction. The villa was cleaned on Wednesdays and Saturdays and new towels, clean bedding etc were provided and the cleaner removed any rubbish and cleaned all bathrooms, floors etc to a high standard. The gardens are planted with palm trees which have matured over the last 35 years and they give a very tropical feel to the pool area.The photos of the property posted by the owner are accurate and perhaps don't reflect the very spacious aspect of the property and the decor, fixtures and fittings are of the latter end of the 20th century and high quality as opposed to the more disposable replaceable materials/designs in modern properties
