Unit “B” of The Whitney House complex is ideal for small groups in for Weddings, Bridal or Baby showers, Birthday’s, Graduation, Texas Tech game day celebrations and more. OR a more intimate stay for an Anniversary, birthday or HONEYMOON celebration. With sleeping accommodations for up to 4 guest, you can’t beat this location close to Texas Tech, Hospitals and downtown night life. The best part is the Courtyard, it is what makes The Whitney House complex A STAY ABOVE THE REST.
The space
The Whitney House is located in a gentrified neighborhood of homes built back in 1929. It was purchased because of the unique courtyard in the back and because it holds 3 separate units to accommodate guest. Newly remodeled in Feb 2018, this property is sure to please with how spacious and accommodating each unit brings for each guest. “A” unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath tiny house with 2 private parking spots and both “B” and “C” units located in the back are spacious studios with full kitchens and private baths with 1 parking spot each. “C” unit is the only unit that has its own unique and private front patio and their parking is covered. All units share the quiet and peaceful courtyard located in the back of the complex and washer and dryer units are located in A and outside in separate mudroom for both B and C units. They are available for guest use at a small fee of $3.00 per load which includes soap and dyer sheets.
Guest access
When renting the “B” Unit of The Whitney House you will have access to your Unit, the mudroom to wash clothes, a assigned LABELED parking space and the back courtyard. The mud room is available for guest use at a small fee of $3.00 per load which includes soap and dyer sheets.
Other things to note
LATE CHECK IN'S WELCOME - you will be given a personal ACCESS CODE to get in at your leisure.

There are cameras around the OUTSIDE of the property to monitor rules such as NO Pets, NO Smoking and Quiet hours of 11pm to 6am. Guidebooks to each unit are located in kitchens, bedrooms, or living areas for easy reference to great places to eat and things to do around the great city of Lubbock Texas.

Violations of policy cost AGAINST your deposit:
Smoking inside unit or butts (filters) found on the grounds - $50 charge
Pet on property $50.00 charge
Unregistered guest staying the night - $25.00 per guest, per DAY

For grilling outside - you will need to bring Charcoal and lighter fluid. We only provide the grill and cooking utensils.

LONG TERM GUESTS:
So that we can continue to offer great stays for all guest to come, we provide a FREE but MANDATORY weekly OR every other week cleaning service. This is usually on the 7th or 14th day of your stay and will continue on a weekly or every other week schedule, which ever you would prefer. We provide this cleaning during our cleaning and turn over hours of 10am to 2pm. We will set up this weekly or every other week schedule with you once you arrive so that we can change your sheets, bring fresh towels, sweep, mop, take any trash out, restock coffee, disposable items and any toiletries you may need.
This service is not OPTIONAL, we must be able to make sure our spaces are kept cleaned regularly. You may choose to be there or we can come when you are not around.
