Good stay - but watch your credit card statement

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Hotel needs some maintenence - the TV in room was unable to connect to WiFi, every TV in hotel was incapable of filling the screen with the broadcast signal leaving a huge black box around the edges. At least one room number had fallen off the wall beside the room. Had one HUGE negative initially - the system double-charged my card and withdrew the room fee twice. Initially was told there was nothing staff could do until i raised enough fuss to be put through to the GM. Still took another 24 hours, but the additional cost was refunded, finally. The staff was friendly and as helpful as they were able to be in the situation, but it was very frustrating being out hundreds of dollars for an unknown period of time - i was, on first question of it, told that "after checkout it will release in 3-5 business days" which was simply unacceptable. I'm sure if I'd gone and taken $250 from the safe in the office they'd have me arrested in an hour, but it took 36 hours and GM intervention to fix the problem in the opposite direction. Despite the difficulties, would stay again - as said before, room was very nice and bed very comfortable.

I stayed here 2 nights for the Texas Tech homecoming football game weekend. Of course the prices were inflated due to it being homecoming, so I paid $220/nt. This property is definitely not worth that price, but all hotels raise their prices for popular game weekends, unfortunately. Positive: the hotel is only a few minutes from Texas Tech, but it's across the highway, so not close enough to walk to campus. Negatives: The room was not very well lit, the floors/baseboards weren't the cleanest, and a towel was stained. There seems to be a shortage of staff at this hotel. Trash stayed piled up by the ice maker on my floor for 2 days, the elevator only worked the first day, and when I requested more towels I had to wait because they were being washed. Overall, would I stay here again? Unlikely.

At the time of checking in, everything was fine. The breakfast was truly horrible, and not to mention the checkout was terrible. The checkout time was 11 am. However, the cleaning person banged hard on the door at 9:30 am, even though I had already notified them that my checkout would be at 11 am. How is it possible to disturb the guest long before the checkout time?

Rooms are completely out dated and at this price point expected nicer accommodations… the WiFi didn’t work, bed has been over used and the shower had stains…. It was a basic room staff was ok alothouhh when I asked for help with the WiFi’s they did not accommodate my request to assist. Definitely needs money invested to be represented by Wyndham

There was a line of people waiting for staff to come out to the front desk, rooms were not clean (bathroom), the sheets were dirty, went and asked for more clean sheets and they were also full of hair and stains. No offer to switch rooms or anything when I told the front desk the room was not clean. The headboards are wooden and had handprints with what look liked food on them.

1 towel in a double queen room. Drain in tub/shower backed up. Was offered a new room but we had already spread out and it was late. We’ve stayed here many times in the past. It just seems it’s going downhill.
