The living area has a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV, plus a dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen is off the living room, separated by a breakfast bar. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine. Glass doors lead from the kitchen out to a private balcony.

A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (2-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés.
For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk).
The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 30 minute journey.
