Lovely decor throughout the property. Room had everything we needed. One minor problem was that the wardrobe had nowhere to hang anything longer than a shirt, a small section to hang full length dresses would be nice. The shower was amazing, lovely shampoo/shower gel and conditioner provided. There was a bit of a wait when we had our evening meal there, but it was delicious. The breakfast was outstanding. we had a wonderful stay, but the parking was a problem. There are 98 rooms and only about 12 parking spaces. There is parking over the road, but only for 2 hours during the day. There is also parking in the streets running back from the front, but everyone from the surrounding area also parks there, so spaces are hard to come by. It is not ideal to have to carry your luggage to and from the car, maybe a parking bay specifically for loading and unloading your luggage would be handy? The hotel is ideally placed as it is a short distance from Blackpool, but far enough from the hustle and bustle.

Nice hotel overall. Staff friendliness took it back one star. Also fire alarm went off at 5am with no apology or explanation. Shame because overall it's a nice place to stay. Parking for me was OK but many had an issue and had to park on the road. Drinks were well over priced. £6.95 for a Guinness. Convenient for St Ann's bars and restaurants 5 minute walk. . Overall I would go back.

Nice hotel. Self check in was a new experience but staff very helpful when assistance was required. Room was very clean. Liked the eco opportunity of a free drink in exchange for not getting room cleaned for a day although they still supplied anything that needed topped up. We booked a superior king room (2216) - had a lovely comfortable king bed with a lovely sea view but was a bit disappointed in the room size, especially the ensuite which was tiny and getting in and out of the shower was challenging. We didn't have breakfast but the meals we did have were lovely and reasonably priced. Parking was very limited - we were there for a week and never got a space in the hotel car park. Plenty of parking nearby though but had to be careful about restrictions on the promenade. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

Really well presented property with very functional and immaculate rooms. The staff were all friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. I was surprised but loved how welcome dogs were. Beyond their control but parking is limited but I guess that is par for the course. I would definitely stay here again.

Golf trip

This was the second consecutive year we have stayed at the hotel to coincide with an annual golf tournament and it was an outstanding experience. The staff are incredibly helpful, professional and receptive to requests. The best hotel in the area by far.

We were given a ground floor room which was a little dark but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor terrace for a drink in the sun

1940’s weekend in lytham. Room was. very hot even though it came with two fans and the windows were open. did not have breakfast there. Room was a good size and had a sea view. only saw the staff when we checked out. Would stay again.

Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, a little disappointed that they did not reward being green ( energy saving ) unless you have the app, therefore not encouraging this in that group of guests. Room on the top floor so very hot but that was due to the weather. Overall a lovely stay, breakfasts very good.

Check in was easy and quick it was on a self check in on a screen, but instantly the staff asked if I needed help at both check in and check out... I didn't but was nice to know they were there to help Breakfast option was superb, nice coffee, lots of options, hot breakfast was excellent quality and size.. breakfast staff were really nice and interacted with us and others, which was nice Rooms reall clean, lots of historic touches around the hotel, good selection on tea and coffee tray and shower had good quality shower gel/shampoo All staff really polite, helpful and friendly throughout our stay
