The room was remodeled but floors were very dirty. It had a musty smell. We used a room deodorizer while there. The television didnt connect to wifi. Pillows were not comfy. Moldy shower head and baseboards were detaching in the bathroom. Bathroom shower curtain was old and dirty. Towels were not provided until we went to ask for fresh ones.The balcony was dirty with spider webs everywhere. Stairways were not well lit. The only nice thing was the beach view.

Ww checked into the hotel and ten minutes later checked back out. The room especially the bathroom wasn’t clean and there was black mold throughout the room. My daughter is allergic and had an immediate reaction. The clerk gave us another room to stay in but it also had mold growing in the bathroom. The front desk clerk gave us a refund and booked us into another hotel at the same price. Patricia was very nice about the whole situation which I appreciated.

Like the new wood siding in the rooms. Bed was comfortable (the other bed was almost on the floor). The outside of the toilet was dirty, the shower curtain was moldy and almost fell on my head. The outdoor stairs need new carpet and the entire hotel needs power-washed. Old broken beach chairs need thrown out!!!

Price high for what we got

Food options were great all restaurants for order are all close. The beds were okay. Better that some. The kids water park was not open looks like it was being used for scaffolding for remodel of the hotel. When we walked in our room there was sticky spilled on the table and floor. I had to go back to the desk for a remote. There was spit all over the sink faucet they didn’t clean.

Clean room, nice balcony and great view, beach access great, beach needs some better up keep but good, outlets loose and wouldn’t hold chargers, tv good, WiFi decent, easy walk to ferry transit, ice machine broke down, water park not open even though not listed on website, hallways ok, outside trashes jammed full, nice outdoor fire pits except one over full, worse part was when I called because toilet was flushing right and sink not draining right I was told “what do you want me to do about it?”, she ultimately brought us a plunger but never looked up from her phone outside when giving it to my husband.

Nice place with a bonus fireworks show!

The bed was good. I had a couple of small things that I reported to the desk staff as I checked out. One is that the floor was a little bit “sandy.” I could have tracked it in when I brought things to my room (it is a beach hotel, after all). I had a small problem with one light fixture (one of the two bulbs was out). The other issue is that once I got the fixture turned on, I couldn’t turn it off. At first I thought there was a dearth of plugs to use for re-charging my devices but then I discovered the open socket places on a wall above the couch in my room. So it was a small challenge that was resolved-just odd placement of open outlets. 😁The very best unadvertised feature was the fireworks display at 10pm -just because it was “Saturday.” The desk staff noted it as I checked in or I would have missed a nice unobstructed view of fireworks over the water. Bravo

The room was beachfront and the view was beautiful. Every morning there was a beautiful sunrise! The ferry to Mackinac Island was a 4 minute walk which was very convenient so we didn’t have to drive and pay for parking. The room had been upgraded and was very nice and roomy. It was clean but it could use a deep clean. The hot water was a little tricky, a couple of times in the early morning (6:30) it wasn’t hot but wait awhile then it was hot. I tried calling the front desk to get more towels and didn’t get through to anyone but I did finally get more towels. When I checked in the staff was very friendly and when I stopped in to talk to them they were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights and we did enjoy our stay there. Overall for the price and the location I would stay again.

The internet wasn’t great while we were there, and the room could have been a little cleaner, as well as the beach but overall it was a nice place to stay.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good stay. The floor was dirty with sand and the bathroom didn’t have hand towels or a shower curtain. The l hotel was on the beach which gave a great view of the lake.

We were in our room for literally 10 minutes and encountered fleas. When contacting the staff, I was told I could leave, however, would still be charged. Another individual staying at the hotel had the same issue during our check-in, which the staff dismissed. I will fight any charge received as we left immediately. Rude staff and dirty hotel!
