Fully accessible (customized for Grandma!), full kitchen with all the appliances, dishes and utensils needed,, great room with 40 in TV, 1 bedroom with 40 inTV, walk-in shower with 3 spray heads and bench, cable, WiFi, fire pit area, filled with antiques and treasures from our travels

This was a fun, comfortable cabin in a lovely neighborhood with a great location in Madison. The dining table easily shared meals with my office desk, and I never had an issue with connectivity for webinars and Zoom calls. I loved being so close to Willy's Co-op and the Sunday Farmers Market, as well as some of the main roads to happy places like Perennial Yoga in the Garver Feed Mill, restaurants, and shopping. We spent much time at the three closest of Dane County Parks with off-leash trails within 6, 12, and 23 minutes (permit required), and also hiked at Governor Nelson and Devils Lake State Parks. The biggest treat was having Lake View Hill Park right out the front door.The kitchen satisfied a picky chef, and my only longing was to have more than just a few days to enjoy the heated floors - because it was warmer than usual for this time of year!A month well spent.

Nice and cozy

We enjoyed our stay. Jennifer is a great host. The location was good for us because of easy access to birding, shopping, and family. The cabin was well equipped for cooking simple meals. We were comfortable and pleased with our choice.

Felt like home

When staying here I felt like I was at home and didn't want to leave when my stay was up. The wood cabin esque and smell of the wood when walking into the front door was amazing. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Perfect couples getaway

We loved our weekend at the cabin. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. It is close enough to town and also close to lakes and a nice trail to explore with our pup. Woke up to a friendly deer in the woods checking us out. We hope to come back again next summer. Thank you Jennifer for being a great host!

Perfect getaway spot!

Jennifer made our check in SO easy! The place was perfect for our mini getaway during Xmas break! The cabin was so clean and had everything we could possibly need! My 11 year old daughter LOVED the loft space and the location is right by a forest and offered a cute trail for us to walk our dog! The cabin is close to downtown, but feels like you're far away in the mountains! Thank you Jennifer - we plan to come back!

The City Cabin is a fantastic hidden gem right on Madison's north side. It provides a cozy and comfortable place to settle in for a night or a longer stay. All of the amenities, personal touches and decorations, and friendly and helpful property managers made my stay absolutely perfect. I would recommend this fabulous cabin for anyone who is looking to have their own space, especially if you love nature and feeling completely tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. Do yourself a favor and enjoy City Cabin; I know I plan to the next time I am in Madison.

I could live here forever!

Such a charming and comfortable cabin in a neighborhood and surroundings that are serene and peaceful. Deer, a turkey family... all passed through and a nature preserve/hike right around the corner/out the back door. It was so close to family and friends and all that downtown Madison had to offer... Capitol, museums, state street, swans and eagle viewing on lake mendota...5+

A long weekend in Madison

The property was great and a fun respite. It is close to a great park and trail system that we enjoyed using and it is a quick drive into the heart of Madison. It had a lot of charm and we would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic location!
