Beautiful newly refurbished apartment between Palacio Real and La Latina

A modern apartment, decorated with personality, where nothing is missing so you can feel at home.

It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the living room there is a very comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is very bright. It has a toilet and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is modern and communicates with the living room. It is provided with Vitroceramic, small fridge, hood for odors, washing machine, microwave, and has all the necessary equipment. It has a flat screen TV that will make the evenings more pleasant after a day of long walks. Of course you can not miss Wifi, very important in these times. You also have an iron and ironing board available. A clothesline, if it rains, and another exterior that overlooks the inner courtyard. It is a bass with elevator.
The floor also has cleaning products, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher, scourer, lullaby, ballet and roll of kitchen paper.
At 7 minutes there is a Supermarket. There are bars, restaurants and shops.
The subway is 'Puerta de Toledo', 7 minutes walk. There are also several buses.
Although the apartment is very well surrounded by public transport, you can walk to the famous Madrid Trail, La Puerta de Toledo, Madrid Rio, La Almudena Cathedral, Royal Palace, La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the lively Barrio La Latina where you can find many restaurants, cafes, theater, etc.

For those who come by car, I recommend a Parking that is 10 minutes away by car and the price is € 8 / day and € 40/7 days. Check with me

Property was very clean and communication with host was excellent. She was very proactive communicating about check in and providing recommendations for the duration of our stay. The apt is well stocked in terms of kitchen amenities, towels, etc. The location itself has easy access to bus and metro lines to get you into the center of Madrid quickly. It is also a short commute to the train station. You are a short walk to the royal palace with multiple restaurants just a few minutes away. There is a great, large supermarket just 5 minutes walk away. And, for those with younger children, there is a fantastic park (parque de Atenas) just a 10 minute walk away.

Marina was a wonderful host. She ensured that check in went well. She provided a lot of information on cafes and restaurants in the area and was very helpful and communicative. We very much appreciated was that she called a taxi for us on the morning we left. The apartment was clean. The photos provided matched the accommodations well. The apartment could be reached by an elevator, which was handy for my husband who has a mobility problem making climbing stairs difficult for him. On this issue, the bed in the master bedroom was very low to the ground. Unfortunately, this was a problem for my husband who had problems getting into and out of bed. The apartment is well located on a bus route, which passes every 5 to 10 minutes. The terminuses for the bus routes are metro stops, which make the rest of Madrid accessible. Overall, a good stay.

This was a great place to stay in Madrid. It was really cute and in a great location. Our host was amazing and so very helpful. Let us check in early and recommended great restaurants and sight seeing. Great local tapas-bars, and coffee shop right next door to the building. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Madrid! Amazing!

Madrid and on to Camino

Wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and very accommodating.Marina was a fabulous host, trying to help in every way imaginable and easily contactedThe location was perfect, accessible to everything by walking and for those locations that were somewhat more distant it was an easy connect with a Uber. Highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend a number of days in Madrid.

Great location

12 steps up and then available elevator if needed! Simple apartment with everything you need to enjoy Madrid! Owner was amazing with her communication and checked in on us several times. Easy access to public transportation and close to groceries and restaurants! Definitely would recommend!

Nice apartment

The apartment was very nicely decorated and fully equipped.The apartment was close to a grocery store but not within walking distance to any of the major sites. The apartment was quiet to sleep in and it had a working elevator.It also had a washer and dryer but half way through, the dryer stopped drying. We later learned that it had a water storage compartment that was full of water and was the cause of the lack of drying. Also, the shower water temperature was difficult to graduate.

A gem hidden in Madrid

Our stay in Madrid was wonderful in this apartment. This is a quiet neighborhood with room for an average family to easily sleep (2 adults 3 kids). Our hostess was incredibly friendly and met us at the apartment to orient us for our stay. She walked us through each room, gave us directions to some of the major sights, and told of some of the best restaurants to eat that only the locals know about. She even helped us locate the nearest grocery store where my wife could find food because of some of her food allergies. She then sent us links to each of the sights and restaurants accessible on our phones. She even handled calling a taxi for us on our last day to get to the airport. She was a very gracious lady and spoke fluently in both English and Spanish. Whenever we had any questions, our hostess responded quickly and with good information.From this apartment, we spent several days walking all over the city of Madrid. If you are in reasonable shape, walking through the city is the way to go. It is about a 15 min walk to the Palacio Real and the nearby Plaza Mayor. We also walked from here to the Prado Museum and the Retiro Park with stops along the way at the Plaza del Sol.Whether day or night, we felt very safe in this neighborhood and were not afraid to venture out for sightseeing or for dinner. The few neighbors we saw were also very friendly. The next time we are in Madrid, we will definitely plan to stay here again.

Perfect place for a family

We had an amazing stay here. Host was in communication from start to finish. She met us when we arrived to show us around and give us information on places to see, eat etc. The apartment was located in a great spot for everything we wanted to see. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Safe, quiet 2 BR, 1.5BA apartment great for family

The apartment was great for my family of 4 to spend a week in Madrid. It was about a 15-25 minute walk to all of the major sightseeing activities in the city and there was a bus stop within a couple of minutes to take you to town/metro/train station, etc. It was great to have a washer and kitchen. Marina was super pleasant to work with and helped arrange taxi for us when we were ready to leave. Shower pressure was great but make sure not to pull the pressure handle all the way because it makes your shower cold! There was a market for basic necessities and several bars/restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance.

Nice neighborhood

Fast communication, good location and within walking distance to many areas of the town center of Madrid, great water pressure in shower, only thing that 2 of our group didn’t like was the very hard pillows. 1 person in our group slept well with the hard pillows. Thats the only complaint but some people might prefer that type of pillow. Nice neighborhood/area. I encourage anyone staying here to eat at El Raton De Getaria. The hummus, guacamole and pork are so good! Had a great time at this VRBO.

Visiting our daughter in Madrid

We did an extended stay in Marina's property, 10 nights. Our daughter is studying abroad for the semester and we went to visit her. It was a GREAT stay, there was room for our daughter to stay overnight a few times plus we hosted 5 of her friends for dinner one evening. Marina told us about a grocery store nearby and even provided a wheeled cart to help us bring groceries home. Everything was so clean and the kitchen had almost everything we needed to host dinner. If you are looking for a full kitchen this is not it, nice stovetop and microwave but no oven. We got by fine without it. Communicating with Marina is very easy and she is so pleasant and nice. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood and not right in the heart of the tourist areas. But we found the quiet evenings to be very restful. We would definitely return, if our travels take us to Madrid again.
