The room was spacious & clean. Beds made & towels changed daily. The walls are paper thin so noise from other rooms is a problem. Noise of flowing water when people in other rooms shower or flush. We were also diturbed by people banging on our door very late at night.

Property is good and clean. Only thing is it’s Lacking essential amenities like coffee, refrigerator, only had soap and shampoo, other stuff should have been provided ( compared to other hotels with same price)!

This hostal definitely deserves more than 2 stars. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and a great shower. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance. On the downside, there was noise from outside which carried on until the early hours. Bottled water and coffee making facilities would have been appreciated. On the whole, a comfortable room at a very reasonable price.

This place was recommended by a friend. This is a small hostel remodeled to the amenities of a hotel. They have private room and offer cleaning services. We had a pleasant experience staying here. The location was excellent. It was walking distance from plaza del sol and el prado.

Very convenient property to the Madrid Centro sites: restaurants, historical buildings, museums, parks, metro underground transit. A Madrid airport to city center bus stop point was within 1km of the property and cost 5 Euros With the balcony doors open at night, the early morning street cleaning and delivery vehicles were a distraction to sleep. Overall a good place for short stay.

Convenient and clean hotel

This is my first hostel experience. The price, reviews, private bathroom and photos of the rooms were factors for booking the place. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious. In a good location, within walking distance to Plaza Major and other places of interests. I really enjoyed my stay. Good value for money and would definitely stay there again if I go back to Madrid for another visit!

Simple/efficient in central Madrid

The en-suite room I stayed in had a high ceiling and a large French window opening onto a side street. Double glazing and curtains ensure the traffic noises are muted. The air conditioning is switched on/off from the reception. A simple and decent enough solution

Ok for price...

Like most european hotels this was compact and no frills. Wifi was mediocre. Location was central and close proximity to museums and culture. Converted floors of building to hotel, 3 hotels in same building. No parking if you are driving but the do have an arrangement with a small lot that is a 15 min walk from hotel. Ok for price given the location. Not up to US standards but typical of what I have visited in Spain.
