The gentleman who staffed the reception was very welcoming and kind. You can ask them to store your luggage even after checkout (no charge), so it was very convenient and it allowed me to tour the city with ease.

the room is small and simple, but entirely adequate, with a good desk and chair. the A/C worked very well. the bed was comfortable. the location is excellent in a good neighborhood, with many shops in the vicinity, and easy walking distance to points of interest. the Anton Martin metro station is adjacent to the Hostal. it is also nicely close to the Atocha RR station. I recommend Hostal Edreira and the next time I am in Madrid I will be staying there again.

Room was very pleasant and clean. Was apprehensive to learn there was no private bathroom but the shared one was very clean and always available. Only concern was walls very thin and can be noisy outside but the location, cleanliness, staff and easy check in made it worthwhile.

Great hostal/hotel. My room had a shared bathroom (cheaper) which I initially doubted but ended up being super nice/clean and did the job perfectly. Highly recommend this place. I left my suitcase as I am spending one more night in the hotel and they kindly accepted to store it for me.

Typical Hostal Accommodation. Absolutely fine.

Old building conversion but easy to access and locate room. Clean and spacious, ideal central location for 24/48hr stay. Happy to recommend.

Very good value for money, convenient location near the Anton Martin metro station. Room 15 was compact but had everything needed - appropriate for a Hostal. It is better than a hostel because it had a private room with attached bathroom. External noise was an issue.
